Kelsey Ann is an actress-turned-screenwriter from the strange heart of Florida. Her work explores combustible relationships, gritty subcultures, and violent femininity. Though she primarily writes thrillers, even her comedies are dark.
She shadowed EP Sarah Alderson on CBS’ S.W.A.T. and was shortlisted for the Independent Spirit “Someone To Watch” Award, 2025. Her debut feature film, Stephanie Stevens (writer/director/producer/co-star), was Runner-Up for the Audience Award at the Phoenix Film Festival, and secured distribution for a summer 2026 release. Screenwriting accolades: Stage32/Pathfinders Finalist, Austin Film Festival, Launch Pad, Screencraft, The Script Lab, and The PAGE Awards. Previously, Kelsey Ann and her husband Nate had multiple pilots in development at Paramount, and co-hosted the crime-comedy podcast, Florida Woman.
